Short answer
You connect through Meta's official login — Viralyse never asks for your password. The account must be professional (Creator or Business). Once connected, Viralyse reads your posts to build the strategy and can schedule and publish for you.
Step by step
- In Instagram, make sure the account is professional: Settings → Account type and tools → Switch to professional account.
- In Viralyse, during onboarding or under Integrations, click connect Instagram.
- Log in with Meta and approve the permissions (read profile and posts, publish).
- Back in Viralyse, the account shows as connected and the profile analysis starts.
Good to know
- Personal accounts don't work with the official API; switching to professional is free.
- If the connection expires, Viralyse warns you and you just reconnect.
- Without connecting you can use just your @: the strategy comes from your answers and public profile.
